IoT passive infrared sensors respond to IoT applications using passive infrared. Passive infrared sensor is mainly composed of optical system, pyroelectric sensor (or called infrared sensor) and alarm controller. The sensor itself does not emit any energy but only passively receives and detects infrared radiation from the environment. Once the human body infrared radiation comes in, the pyroelectric device will generate a sudden change of electrical signal after being focused by the optical system, and an alarm will be issued and the feedback system will be adjusted. The difference in temperature, as detected by the PID, is the primary element in triggering a response.
